These generous 18k yellow gold hoop earrings measure 2 inches in diameter and delicately hold small ancient coins. Each coin is surrounded by white diamonds, 0.13ctsTW, and is balanced perfectly on the hoop.
The coins are 9mm silver coins from Greece. They were hand struck in 302 BC and each depicts a kantharos. The kantharos was a finely potted vase or drinking vessel of elegant form. It was characterized by its high arching handles.
If you had no other yellow gold hoops, but these, in your personal collection you would be just fine.
