Petite Cross Necklace
379 AD
9mm x 12mm small bronze coin is set in 18k rose gold and is anchored by a 2mm champagne diamond at it's base. Notice how the cross is off center. This is due to humans striking the coins.
It hangs from a simple 16" rose gold chain. Early Christian Crosses were hand struck on coins during the rule of Theodosius the Great. He was the emperor responsible for making Christianity the official state religion of the Roman Empire. He is also a saint.
