18mm silver coin is set in 18k yellow gold with a bezel of white diamonds. Which, together, are the size of a quarter. This ring has a soft hammer finish. The coin depicts Faustina, Jr. She was married to Marcus Aurelius before he became emperor and the two were very close. They were blessed with an abundance of children. Faustina accompanied her emperor husband during his numerous campaigns in the field attempting to make a home out of an army camp. She was loved and revered by the soldiers, who called her Matri Castrorum or “Mother of the Camp.”
