This ancient bronze coin is set in a chunky 18k yellow gold bezel and flanked on each side by matching, quarter carat, white diamonds, 0.54ctw. The ring is a size 6 and the coin is slightly smaller than a US dime.

The coin depicts a bee which was created as the symbol of Ephesus by the emperor at the time and remained so for hundreds of years. Bees have an ancient reputation as the bringers of order and femininity. Honey was the nectar of the gods.
